Actor · Producer · Storyteller
Troy Nankervis is a Sydney-based actor, producer and storyteller working across film, TV, theatre and presenting.
Recent screen acting credits include Joe in Velvet Innocence and Adam in The Other Car. Commercial and branded work includes campaigns for Canva and Heineken, alongside collaborations with brands including Meta, Uniqlo, Adidas, YHA Australia and Intrepid.
A graduate of RMIT's Advanced Diploma of Screen, Troy has more than 15 years' experience across Australian and UK film, television and media, including producing roles on The Project, Studio 10, The Morning Show and Good Morning Britain (ITV) in London.
His first role after graduating was on set as a special effects assistant on The Pacific, the acclaimed HBO miniseries from the producers of Band of Brothers. His experience both in front of and behind the camera has given Troy a strong instinct for storytelling, live performance and connecting with an audience.
As a writer and producer, Troy's TV pilot Wasted was a national Top 10 finalist in the Optus 180 Project competition. His documentary Culture Crusher: The Free Trade Agreement was officially selected for the St Kilda Film Festival, while his short film Charge was a finalist in the 48 Hour Film Project. He was also invited to take part in the Emerging Producers Scheme at the 2008 Screen Producers Australia Annual Conference.
On stage, Troy has produced and performed work presented at Sydney Fringe Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Hatched Festival and Midsumma Festival.
Troy's training spans screen, theatre and performance, with studies at RMIT, Deakin University, the University of Exeter (UK), Sydney Drama School, Sydney Actors Association, the Australian College of Dramatic Arts, Sydney Acting Studio and London Actors Workshop.
